# $NCR Token
Choose Your Pill, Rebel Against the System
The $NCR token lies at the heart of the Neon City ecosystem, acting as a bridge between various components and facilitating seamless interconnectivity. As the native governance token of the project, $Rebels will serve as the primary means of exchange for in-game transactionality, allowing users to purchase digital assets, access various features and functionalities, and receive rewards.
In addition, $NCR token will also serve as the primary currency for the internal NFT marketplace, providing users with the flexibility to buy and sell digital assets and earn revenue in a decentralized and transparent manner.
Holders of $NCR token will have the option to stake their NFTs in exchange for tokenized yields, payouts, airdrops, and rewards. By staking their NFTs, users can earn additional $NCR tokens and other rewards based on the amount and duration of their staking, thus contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Neon City ecosystem.
Overall, the $NCR token and NFT staking mechanism will serve as the backbone of the Neon City ecosystem, empowering users to participate in the project's governance, contribute to its development, and benefit from its growth.
